decafaholic
I love traveling and I liked going on mission trips when I was a Christian. I like helping people and I would like to do some humanitarian work, but obviously a Christian organization is out of the question. Has anyone heard of any non-Christian organizations that I could volunteer with? My expertise is teaching and working with kids. Manual labor and I don't mix. Any ideas? BlueGiant
Area hospitals often have volunteer groups helping out, you may want to contact them.
MonolithTMA
You could check out the Peace Corps. There are certainly traveling opportunities with them.
